Membership.
Membership fees are a compromise between making the MUGA affordably available to everyone, and making enough money to run the necessary administration and maintenance.
Individual membership fees:
Annual membership 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2013: £12.00
Winter season only ( October to March ): £6.00
Your membership fees covers all your bookings for a year: there are no additional session fees.
We have special rates for sports clubs who would like to use the MUGA regularly, please email us initially so that we can discuss availability and fees.
We would hate anyone to be ‘priced out’ of membership. If the fees are a problem for you, particularly if you are a large family, please get in touch and we will try to help.
How to become a member.
Complete a membership form and return it, together with £12, to The School or to the address on the form. You can use one form for the whole family, but we would like £12 for each of you please.
You can download the form here: MUGA membership form.
Or send a request by email and we will post one to you. Email membership secretary
We need to look after the MUGA, so there are a set of rules and conditions that we ask people to sign up to and observe. There is a copy of the rules with the membership form, or you can see them here: MUGA rules and conditions.
When we have your membership application we will post your membership card to you, together with information about using our online booking system and how to gain entry to the MUGA. You will then be free to book sessions and use the MUGA as you will.
Booking your sessions.
We have an online booking system that allows members to see all the bookings already in place and to book their own sessions whenever they like. We ask members to create their own accounts on the booking system and we will send you details when you join, or you can download them here: online booking notes.
At the moment we don’t have any rules about the number of times people may book the MUGA, or how far in advance bookings may be made, and we don’t have any pecking order: it’s “first booked first played”. Depending on how things go this may have to change, but we hope that members will help each other to maximise the number of people who can play, and maximise the use of the space.
If you have any queries or need help with membership applications or bookings please email the membership secretary or ‘phone Nick on 01995 640188
